Hot: 'I swear on my mum’s life, I wasn’t starting on you': Megan McKenna apologises to Tiffany Pollard after violent c-word outburst on Celebrity Big Brother

After losing her temper in an almighty fashion, Celebrity Big Brother viewers saw Megan McKenna apologise to fellow contestant Tiffany Pollard for verbally lashing out at her and coming within inches of her face when the house erupted in violence in the early hours of Thursday morning, on Friday night's episode.
The Ex on the Beach star - who was issued with a formal warning over her hysterical behaviour - cleared the air with the Flavor of Love contestant on Thursday, insisting: 'I swear on my mum’s life, I wasn’t starting on you.'
Viewers witnessed Megan, 23, kick off at 34-year-old Tiffany and the pair looked close to physically fighting one another when a discussion about the house cleanliness got out of hand.

CBB: Security enter house after Megan's explosive outburst

The morning after the night before, Megan approached Tiffany and explained: 'I’m not rowing with you, but I need to talk to you because I can’t have this. Last night, honest to God, I was just explaining a story and I think you must have heard it the wrong way.
'I swear on my mum’s life, I weren’t starting on you.'

The New Yorker then reassured the Essex native that all is forgiven and told her: 'I didn’t think you had no beef with me.

'We needed it. I know I feel better for saying those things I said so I get it.'
Prior to the conversation, Megan was called to the Diary Room where Big Brother issued her with a formal warning with producers telling her threatening behaviour is not acceptable.
She responded: 'I'm sorry. I don't like it that you've put in that way to me that people feel threatened by me. I flipped out because I can't handle it [John being two-faced] any more.
'The only reason I flipped like that at Tiffany is because she flipped at me. I was trying to help Tiffany. I was explaining to everybody how two-faced John is.'
Tiffany was also punished by Big Brother and told that there'd be serious consequences if she repeated the sort of behaviour she displayed in the early hours of Thursday morning.
'[Megan] got in my face, she was around my bed screaming. I wasn't violent towards anybody,' she contested.
After having some time to reflect on the explosive scenes, Megan took herself to the Diary Room to give Big Brother a heartfelt apology.
The remorseful star said: 'I just want to apologise for how I acted in here last night. I didn't mean to hit the camera. I'm not going to apologise to John because I do still believe he's manipulative. He's got under my skin so much and I just blew.'
She also addressed the claims of racism and clarified: 'I didn't think in a million years that using the word ghetto would offend anyone.
'I don't want you to think I was disrespecting you because I am so grateful to be here. I hope it's not ruined people's views on me.'
However, some Channel 5 viewers claimed the formal warning wasn't harsh enough of a punishment and the explosive scenes, which saw security called into the house to restrain Megan, have led to calls for her to be immediately removed over allegations of 'racism' as she labelled Tiffany 'a ghetto c***'.
One concerned Channel 5 viewer took to Twitter to express their concerns, writing: 'Using the C word? @bbuk @BBUKLive so disgusted switching off get her out!! Drunk trash @Megan_Mckenna_ #racist.'
Another pleaded: '#CBB get @Megan_Mckenna_ out the racist drunken piece of trash.'
A show spokesperson confirmed to MailOnline: 'Megan has received a formal warning from Big Brother for unacceptable behaviour. This will be seen in Friday night's episode,' following the incident.

Among horrified audience members were former So Solid Crew band-member who accused her of showing her 'true colours' with the rant, which was filled with expletives, while singer Jermaine Jackson added: 'We all know she wanted to say black.'
The outburst prompted memories of a notorious CBB race row  when Jade Goody mocked Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, calling her 'Shilpa Poppadom' in the 2007 series.

Fuming: Megan, 23, kicked off in an almighty fashion after admitting to being 'p***ed as a fart' during a conversation with John Partridge about the cleanliness of the house. She eventually entered the Diary Room and launched a torrent of abuse at 34-year-old Tiffany, controversially labelling her 'a ghetto c***'

Big Brother threatened to call security if she kept up the violent display which resulted in her shoving her hand in the camera and screaming at the top of her voice: 'F**k off Big Brother. Get f**king security then. [She's] a ghetto c***.'
Twitter users were quick to pick up on the highly offensive insult, branding the star 'racist' and accusing her of making a coded reference to Tiffany's ethnicity.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo took offense and wrote: '...a "ghetto" c***...okay Megan, I was backing you until that moment, 'cos we all know what you REALLY wanted to say. LONG SIGH. #CBB.'
